Paco Torreblanca


At the age of twelve, he began his pastry training in Paris with Jean Millet, one of the best pastry chefs of the time.

After 10 years in France he returned to his homeland and worked in different bakeries in the province of Alicante, until 1978 when he opened his own bakery in Elda (Alicante).

In 1990 he was proclaimed the Best Confectioner of the Year in Europe. His creations, with an innovative image and elegant aesthetics, seek balance not only in flavor but also in the textures of the different elements involved.

Torreblanca, one of the great masters of world pastry in the last three decades and a figure of great projection, currently directs the International School of Pastry Arts in Petrel.
