Pedro Salas is Chef of Rte. Aqua (Castellón). 1 Sol Repsol since 2012 and Bib Gourmand from Michelin in 2015. Passionate about Japanese cuisine, he has developed menus that blend Spanish and Japanese cultures.
This young Valencian, currently head chef of the Aqua Restaurant at the Hotel Luz in Castellón, began his hospitality studies in Castellón. After spending some time in France, he returned to take courses with Paco Torreblanca and Joan Roca, among others.
He has worked at the Mare Nostrum Restaurant in Castellón, La Hacienda in Valencia, the Blue Angel, with Berd Noller, and at the Celler de Can Roca. He currently collaborates with the Chair of Mediterranean Gastronomy of the UJI and the network of CDT of the Comunitat Valenciana.
