He studied at the haute cuisine school Le Cordon Bleu Peru, and his work experience includes a dozen restaurants in Peru, Mexico and Spain.
Omar has matured experience and acquired knowledge by carrying out stages with the best chefs in the world; among which stand out those carried out in the famous restaurants Quique Dacosta, Celler de Can Roca (Restaurant of the Roca brothers), both awarded with 3 Michelin stars and Pakta (Barcelona) with 1 Michelin star.
In 2014, at the age of 25, he arrived in Madrid to take charge of the gastronomic proposal of the restaurant Tiradito & Pisco Bar, where he introduces the technique in a cuisine that, in the face of the diner, maintains both the Peruvian essence and its commitment to flavor, with a creative touch.
Thanks to his background, he started a new adventure as Corporate Chef by opening Peruvian gastronomic concepts around the world; such as Piscoteket (Oslo), Pacifico (Milan), Provisiones (Lima), etc.
